Purchase & Removal of Yorkon Modular Office Building

Modular & Portable Buildings Ltd were approached to purchase two quality Yorkon modular office buildings, one located in North London and one in Bradford.

The Requirement

After a purchase price had been agreed and payment made, both Yorkon buildings had to be removed by agreed dates. Health & Safety was paramount to our client and a project specific, full Health & Safety package was required.

Our Solution

We visited both sites with our project manager, attended Health & Safety meetings and submitted the following documentation;

• A specific method statement describing the method of removal
• A specific risk assessment describing all identified risks
• A crane plan showing exactly where the crane would be sited for the loading of the modules
• A programme of works showing the exact dismantling and removal dates
• Copies of our insurances
• Details of all people who would be attending the site

• We removed the Yorkon modular building professionally, safely and in full accordance with our submitted Health & Safety plan and programme of works.

• The dismantling and preperation of the Yorkon modular was done over a period of 1 week and the actual removal of the building was undertaken over a two day period.
