Position: Sales & Marketing Assistant
Reporting to: Director
Key duties to include:
- Answering, screening and forwarding inbound telephone calls.
- Customer service duties, including answering customer queries regarding existing orders, stock enquiries and general assistance.
- Managing cabin sales over the telephone and online.
- Updating company sales databases, including proactive communication with existing and prospective clients.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding outstanding purchase orders, overdue deliveries and stock enquiries.
- Purchase order processing and negotiating with suppliers over pricing and deliveries.
- Keeping records of sales targets and actual figures and compiling them into reports for management.
- Involvement in marketing projects.
- Preparation of literature for target customers using a variety of systems.
- General administration and office duties.
The ideal candidate for the role will need to possess the following skills:
Systems
MS Excel 2007
MS Word 2007
Sage (Preferred but not essential)
Publisher (Preferred but not essential)
MS Outlook, Outlook Templates
Experience
Relevant experience in a similar role and environment
