The Under Water Centre
Client: The Underwater Centre Ltd.
Location: Fort William
Requirements: The Under Water Centre required a secure space which could be used as a drying facility for diving suits. The units where to be located on the Pier at Fort William so they needed to be weather proof as they would be exposed to some serious weather! There was a need for four different areas which could be used simultaneously for different training courses.
Solution: We provided The Under Water Centre with two Anti Vandal Units which suited their need for a secure facility very well. At the same time the Anti Vandal Units provided a steel construction which meant being open to the elements wouldn’t be a problem. The unit was supplied with four different areas, making running four different courses at once very easy.
Client’s Comments:
“The cabins delivered yesterday are excellent and are the final piece in our current development stage here at The Underwater Centre. The quality of the cabins and the access stair is very good, exactly what we require on the west coast of Scotland. As regards delivery, this excellent and the large truck caused quite a reaction! It was very impressive to watch the operation, which was made to look very easy by the drivers, especially watching the truck reverse along the curved Pier, almost 800m long. The weather was very poor with a blizzard, strong winds and very low temperatures, but the team carried on and completed the installation in good time. The cabins were located in a tight corner of our Pier, but again, this was made to look effortless. Many thanks to all, your efforts are much appreciated."
